Israel Yao is a final-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) student at the University of Science, Techniques and Technologies of Bamako (USTTB), originally from Togo. Passionate about public health and health economics, he has served in several leadership roles within AEP-Mali and IPSF AfRO. He was awarded Best Student Exchange Officer (2022–2023) in the African region and later served as a Student Exchange Committee Member (2023–2025) and Chairperson of Public Health (2024–2026) for AEP-Mali. Currently, he is the Regional Relations Officer for IPSF AfRO (2025–2026). Beyond pharmacy, Israel is an active Toastmasters International member, recognized for his dedication to communication and leadership, and winner of the Best Speaker Award (2024).
