Day 2 of the African Pharmaceutical Symposium (AFPS) 2026 continued with engaging discussions, insightful presentations, and meaningful networking opportunities. Delegates from across the African region came together to exchange ideas, explore innovative solutions, and strengthen collaborations aimed at improving healthcare and advancing the pharmacy profession.

Throughout the day, participants attended keynote sessions, panel discussions, and technical presentations covering pressing public health issues, pharmaceutical innovation, leadership, and the evolving role of pharmacists in achieving better health outcomes. Speakers shared practical experiences and evidence-based approaches that inspired participants to think critically about the future of pharmacy in Africa.

Beyond the academic sessions, Day 2 provided numerous opportunities for students and young professionals to connect with peers, researchers, industry leaders, and healthcare experts. These interactions fostered new partnerships, encouraged cross-cultural learning, and reinforced the importance of collaboration in addressing regional healthcare challenges.

The energy and enthusiasm displayed by delegates reflected the shared commitment of the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation African Regional Office (IPSF AfRO) to empowering future pharmacists through education, advocacy, and professional development.
